Three 6 Mafia is an American hip hop musical group from Memphis, Tennessee. Originally called "Backyard Posse," the group has included many members (including Gangsta Blac, Gangsta Boo, La Chat, and Koopsta Knicca). The group now consists of Crunchy Blac, Lord Infamous, Juicy J, DJ Paul, the latter two being the in-house producers. This ragtag group of musical rebels is best known for its gruesome lyrics, extolling drugs, pornography, and violence. The group is the first rap ensemble from Memphis to go platinum. |
